This document outlines the pricing, billing intervals, and operational limits for our S3-compatible B2B object storage platform.

1. Storage Pricing

Storage is billed strictly based on data volume and time stored. The base rate is $3.50 per TB per month.

• Monthly Definition: In our terms, 1 month equals exactly 30 days (2,592,000 seconds).
• Billing Interval: Billed per kilobyte (KB) and per second.

1.1 Billing Calculation Examples

The standard billing formula is: Storage size × storage time = billable units.

Example 1:
1 GB stored for 1 second = 1 GB-second
Cost: $0.00000000135

Example 2:
2 GB stored for 1 minute = 120 GB-seconds
Calculation: 2 GB × 60 seconds = 120 GB-seconds
Cost: $0.000000162

2. Data Transfer (Bandwidth)

Network bandwidth pricing depends on the direction of the transfer.

• Ingress (Inbound): Totally free.
• Egress (Outbound): $0.60 per TB.

2.1 Egress Rounding & Offset Policy

Bandwidth is billed per kilobyte (KB) transferred. Transfers of fractions of a KB are rounded up for immediate billing, but the rounded-up difference is credited/offset against your next data transfer.

Offset Example:
1. You transfer 0.3 KB.
   -> You are billed for 1 KB. (0.7 KB credited).
2. You subsequently transfer 0.2 KB, and then 0.5 KB.
   -> Total new transfer: 0.7 KB.
   -> Because you already paid for the 0.7 KB offset, these subsequent transfers are effectively free.
   -> Total billed across all transfers: 1 KB.

3. Operations & API Calls

Our platform is S3-compatible. Request billing is categorized by operation class.

4. Limits & Excess Fees

4.1 Bucket Limits

You may create as many buckets as required. The first 100 buckets are free of baseline charges.

• Bucket Fee: $0.10 per bucket, monthly (applies to bucket 101 and above).
• Interval: This fee is calculated and billed per minute.

4.2 Object Density Limits

There is no absolute hard limit on the number of objects per bucket. However, we enforce an object-to-size ratio limit of 10 million objects per GB, which scales down to 10 objects per KB.

Exceeding this ratio triggers an excess object fee of $0.0000000000000013503 per 10 exceeded objects, every second.

Object Excess Example:
Data Stored: 50 files totaling 0.9 KB.
Rounding: Since we bill minimally per KB, 0.9 KB is treated as 1 KB.
Allowance: 1 KB safely allows 10 objects.
Current Objects: 50.
Excess: 40 objects (4 blocks of 10).

Fee Calculation:
$0.0000000000000013503 × 4 blocks = $0.0000000000000054012 / second.

Resolution:
If you upload additional data bringing your total size to 4 KB (which allows 40 objects), the ratio is satisfied and the penalty charging will automatically stop.
